The candidate should understand the fundamentals of frontend and backend development and have an interest in building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications. \nFamiliarity with headless CMS architecture and hands-on exposure to platforms such as Strapi or Storyblok will be an added advantage. The intern will collaborate with the development team to build web applications, integrate APIs, and support CMS-driven website development. \n\nKey Responsibilities\nFrontend Development: Build responsive, reusable, and user-friendly interfaces using React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. \n\nNext.js Development: Work with routing, layouts, reusable components, rendering strategies, and other Next.js capabilities. \n\nHeadless CMS Integration: Integrate headless CMS platforms such as Strapi or Storyblok with React.js and Next.js applications. \n\nCMS Content Modeling: Understand and work with content types, components, schemas, dynamic content, and structured content models. \n\nAPI Integration: Integrate REST APIs and other supported APIs to retrieve and display content and application data. \n\nWebsite Development: Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of CMS-driven websites and web applications. \n\nBackend Development: Assist with server-side functionality, API development, business logic, and backend integrations using Node.js or suitable technologies. \n\nDatabase Management: Work with databases and support data retrieval, storage, and basic CRUD operations. \n\nPerformance Optimization: Help improve website speed, responsiveness, accessibility, and search engine visibility. \n\nSEO & Metadata: Implement dynamic page metadata, titles, descriptions, and other SEO-related elements for CMS-driven pages. \n\nTesting & Debugging: Identify and resolve bugs, test functionality, and maintain code quality. \n\nVersion Control: Use Git and GitHub for source control, collaboration, and code management. \n\nDocumentation & Collaboration: Follow development standards, document implementations, and collaborate with developers, designers, and project stakeholders. \n\nRequired Technical Skills\nBasic to intermediate knowledge of React.js and component-based development. \n\nFamiliarity with Next.js and its application structure. \n\nKnowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and basic understanding of TypeScript. \n\nUnderstanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern frontend development. \n\nUnderstanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration. \n\nBasic understanding of Node.js and backend development concepts. \n\nFamiliarity with Git and GitHub. \n\nUnderstanding of asynchronous programming, debugging, and browser developer tools. \n\nBasic understanding of databases and CRUD operations. \n\nUnderstanding of the headless CMS concept and the separation of content management from frontend presentation. \n\nHeadless CMS Skills\nFamiliarity with Strapi or Storyblok is preferred. \n\nUnderstanding of content types, components, content modeling, and content delivery APIs. \n\nAbility to connect CMS content with React.js and Next.js applications. \n\nBasic understanding of dynamic page rendering and reusable, CMS-driven frontend components. \n\nFamiliarity with content publishing workflows, preview functionality, and SEO metadata management through a CMS is an advantage. \n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. \n\nExperience building academic, personal, or freelance web development projects. \n\nHands-on experience with React.js and Next.js through projects or internships. \n\nExperience integrating Strapi or Storyblok with a frontend application. \n\nFamiliarity with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar styling frameworks. \n\nExposure to PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other databases. \n\nUnderstanding of authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices. \n\nFamiliarity with deployment platforms, cloud hosting, and CI/CD fundamentals.
