Our focus is on building the best travel search engine to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.\nThis role is required to work from our Kaunas office at least 3 days per week.\nIn this role you will:\nDesign, build, and take end-to-end ownership of complex frontend features - from initial scoping and technical design through deployment, monitoring, and follow-up\n\nWrite maintainable, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews, holding yourself and the team to a high standard of quality and reliability\n\nLead technical design discussions for your team's domain, analyze tradeoffs, and document decisions clearly so the whole team can build on them\n\nIdentify and address technical debt, performance issues, and reliability risks proactively - not just when they become urgent\n\nMentor and support less-experienced engineers through code review feedback, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions\n\nCollaborate closely with product managers and designers to clarify requirements, surface risks early, and ensure features are built to meet real user and business needs\n\nParticipate actively in agile ceremonies - sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos - contributing to a predictable and healthy team delivery rhythm\n\nContribute to improving team processes, tooling, and engineering standards, and advocate for technical improvements with clear reasoning and evidence\n\nUse AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve your own productivity and code quality, and stay current with emerging frontend technologies and approaches\n\nPlease apply if you have:\nDemonstrated experience independently designing and delivering complex frontend features in a production environment - equivalent experience, transferable skills, or non-traditional career paths are all welcome\n\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, and solid experience building user interfaces with a modern component-based framework (such as React or similar)\n\nA good understanding of how frontend systems interact with APIs and backend services, and experience debugging and optimizing across that boundary\n\nExperience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, or end-to-end) and a genuine care for code quality and long-term maintainability\n\nThe ability to communicate technical ideas clearly - in design documents, code reviews, and team discussions - and to give and receive feedback constructively\n\nA track record of taking ownership of your work through to completion: surfacing blockers early, following through without prompting, and caring about outcomes rather than just task completion\n\nFluent English communication skills\n\nComfort working in an agile team environment with iterative delivery, regular collaboration, and shared accountability for team goals\n\nComfort working in a hybrid model, with at least three office days per week\n\nThis would help you to stand out:\nExperience working on advertising technology, user engagement features, or revenue-impacting frontend products\n\nFamiliarity with A/B experimentation frameworks or feature flagging systems\n\nExperience mentoring or supporting the growth of other engineers on your team\n\nIf you are unsure whether your background is a fit, we encourage you to apply.
