Kayzen is accessible through our APIs and user interface.\nThe role\nThe Platform Engineering team owns the Real-time bidding (RTB) platform, a Real-time budget system, Real-time event processing, stream data processing engine and multiple other complex large-scale distributed components and data pipelines. You will work closely with data scientists, data analysts, product and business teams.\nDay to day\nAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will:\nDesign, code, deploy & maintain highly scalable software components, optimal data pipeline architecture for large- scale data volumes\nDive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interaction\nAssemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.\nBuild the system required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and ‘big data’ technologies.\nCreate data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.\nMentor junior software engineers \nSounds like you?\n\n We are looking for a candidate with a minimum 5+ yrs of professional experience working in distributed systems.\nMin. 5 years of experience in coding & implementing complex projects \nProficiency in Java is a MUST \n\nDeep understanding of Multi-threading, JVM, GC and profiling tools\nGood knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.\nExperience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, proficiency in working in Unix/Linux-based environment\nHands on with AI development tools like (Claude code, Github Copilot etc) and demonstrates AI usage, adoption & agentic coding in day to day work\nExperience with C++/Golang nice to have\nPast Experience in
