You will work at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring that data structures support both operational and regulatory reporting needs.\nTo succeed in this role, you should have strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and be a clear, effective communicator able to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze and translate business requirements into long-term data models (primarily physical models)\nDesign structured and performant data models aligned with business needs\nApply best practices (e.g., star schema, facts & dimensions, normalization where appropriate)\nFollow and help refine Rainbow data modeling methodology to ensure consistency\nChallenge and clarify business requirements to ensure optimal data solutions\nPrepare and evaluate proposals for changes and improvements\nEnsure proper documentation and handover of delivered solutions\nAct as a bridge between business and technical teams\nWork closely with analysts, developers, and stakeholders\nClearly communicate complex data concepts and solutions\nYour Profile\nRequired Skills & Experience\nProven experience with physical and relational data modeling\nStrong understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, normalization)\nSolid SQL skills and experience with large datasets\nStrong analytical thinking and attention to detail\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities\nGeneral understanding of information systems and data processing\nAt least intermediate level of English (written and spoken)\nNice to Have\nExperience in banking, finance, or controlling (2-3 years preferred)\nKnowledge of regulatory reporting (e.g., FINREP, COREP, GCRD)\nFamiliarity with metadata management and data governance\nExperience working in cross-functional teams\n3 things you’ll love about KBC Global Services:\n#1 Work-life balance for real.
