This role involves designing and developing robust, scalable solutions that support our business objectives and enhance user experience. You’ll be working primarily in a Data Warehouse (DWH) environment contributing to the development and evolution of data pipelines, data models, and reporting solutions and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into high-quality deliverables. You will also take ownership of selected initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders and driving solution design from idea to delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain applications, data pipelines and transformations in Data Warehouse environment using Python and Java.\nCollaborate with stakeholders in order to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.\nCreate technical specifications and architecture designs.\nWork with data models, ensuring consistency, quality, and performance of stored data.\nEnsure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.\nTake ownership of specific features or data domains, including responsibility for their evolution and quality.\nActively participate in defining solution scope, priorities, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.\nSupport backlog refinement and contribute to prioritization discussions.\nCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nIdentify opportunities for improvements in data usage, processes, and system design.\nRequired Qualifications:\nProven experience in Python and Java development.\nStrong understanding of software design principles and architecture.\nHands-on experience with relational databases and enterprise DWH platforms, especially PostgreSQL, Teradata, and Oracle.\nExperience with DWH concepts (ETL/ELT, data modeling, data pipelines) and DWH automation\nExperience with version control systems (e.g. GitHub).\nAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.\nStrong analytical thinking and ability to understand business processes.\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nProactive approach and ownership mindset.\nGood communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices\nExposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies - SAFe\nExperience with data domains (e.g. data management, reporting, analytics) and knowledge of data governance is an advantage.\n3 things you’ll love about KBC Global Services:\n#1 Work-life balance for real.
