The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++, experience with microcontrollers and real-time operating systems, and an understanding of automotive communication protocols and software development standards.\n\nKey Roles & Responsibilities:\n\n- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive electronic systems and ECUs.\n\n- Develop software using Embedded C and C++.\n\n- Work with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).\n\n- Implement and debug automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.\n\n- Develop and integrate device drivers, firmware, and hardware abstraction layers.\n\n- Perform software unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution.\n\n- Collaborate with hardware, systems, testing, and validation teams.\n\n- Analyse software requirements and prepare technical documentation.\n\n- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and software quality processes.\n\n- Support software integration, verification, validation, and release activities.\n\n- Work with AUTOSAR Classic or Adaptive architecture where applicable.\n\n- Follow automotive development standards such as MISRA C/C++ and ISO 26262, as required by the project.\n\nRequired Technical Skills:\n\n- Strong knowledge of Embedded C and C++.\n\n- Experience in microcontrollers and embedded system architecture.\n\n- Knowledge of RTOS concepts, task scheduling, interrupts, and memory management.\n\n- Understanding of CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, and UART communication protocols.\n\n- Experience with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, or similar equipment.\n\n- Familiarity with Git, version control, and software development tools.\n\n- Knowledge of unit testing and software integration processes.\n\n- Understanding of hardware-software interaction and real-time constraints.\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\n- AUTOSAR Classic or Adaptive.\n\n- Vector CANoe/CANalyzer.\n\n- MISRA C/C++, ISO 26262, and ASPICE.\n\n- MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development.\n\nEducational Qualification:\n\n- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation.\n\nExperience:\n\n- 3 -
