This commitment ensures the seamless operation of our clients' enterprises across diverse locations.\nJob Summary\nUnder direct supervision, the Engineer independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to support project and operational objectives. This role utilizes sound engineering judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications to established methods and practices. With demonstrated experience in a specific functional area, the Engineer contributes to the design and execution of larger, more complex assignments involving conventional engineering plans, investigations, and surveys. Work performed supports project efficiency, cost containment, operational effectiveness, and overall business objectives.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nApply standard engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and criteria to assigned projects and tasks.\n\nIndependently evaluate engineering problems and recommend practical solutions within established guidelines.\n\nPerform engineering calculations, analyses, investigations, and assessments to support project requirements.\n\nAssist with the design and development of engineering plans, studies, surveys, and technical documentation.\n\nUtilize engineering judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications to standard practices and procedures.\n\nSupport larger and more complex engineering assignments under the guidance of senior engineers or project leads.\n\nReview and interpret engineering specifications, standards, and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.\n\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project execution and deliverables.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and operational performance.\n\nMaintain accurate technical records, reports, and project documentation.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.\n\nMinimum of 2 years of related engineering experience.\n\nWorking knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.\n\nAbility to evaluate problems, analyze data, and develop effective technical solutions.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProficiency with standard engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.\n\nMust be a US Citizen\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n3-7 years of related engineering experience.\n\nExperience supporting engineering projects within a relevant industry sector.\n\nFamiliarity with engineering design, investigations, surveys, and technical reporting.\n\nDemonstrated ability to contribute to larger and more complex engineering assignments.\n\nKnowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, codes, and industry best practices.\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nPay\nBasic Compensation: $84,000 - $94,000 per year\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilitiesand/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
