By joining KBR, you become part of a team that works together, shares common values and is united in delivering great outcomes.\nThe Opportunity\nKBR is seeking a Project Manager to support tender and bid responses, then help deliver capital works, facilities and infrastructure projects for Commonwealth Government clients, including Defence, and other major clients. This role offers the opportunity to build your experience across bids, design, procurement, contract administration and project delivery.\nYou will work within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate proposal inputs and documentation, support project reporting and stakeholder engagement, and contribute across a range of facilities and infrastructure engagements. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside KBR’s design services consultancy teams and develop broad experience across both business development and project delivery.\nYou will work on small to medium projects (typically up to ~$20M), office fitouts, construction packages and components of larger programs. In this role, you will:\nSupport tender, capture and bid responses, coordinating inputs, methodology content, programs and submission documentation\nPlan and coordinate project, contract administration and program support activities in line with internal policies and governance requirements\nCoordinate inputs across multidisciplinary internal teams, design services specialists, subcontractors, subconsultants and joint venture partners\nPrepare and manage bid, project and contract documentation, including reports, registers, minutes, procurement and approval records\nSupport project delivery through technical coordination, document control, risk and issue tracking, and approval processes\nAssist with procurement activities, subcontractor and supplier coordination, and government and client approval processes\nSupport day-to-day client communication, stakeholder engagement and reporting to maintain high levels of client satisfaction\nContribute to proposal development, including resourcing, schedules, cost inputs, reviews and internal approvals\nBuild strong working relationships across teams and clients, contributing to positive team culture, continuous improvement and future opportunities \nQualifications & Experience\nExperience supporting tender and bid responses and working on capital works, facilities or infrastructure projects for Commonwealth Government clients, including Defence, or other major clients\nExperience in project management, project coordination, contract administration or program support\nExperience or exposure in government approvals processes, office fitouts, construction projects, subcontractor management and stakeholder coordination\nAbility to work within structured project management or program management frameworks\nEngineering degree, project management/business qualification, or equivalent relevant experience\nDesirable\nExperience working on Commonwealth Government projects, including Defence, or under major client contracts\nUnderstanding of government and client approvals processes\nExperience in office fitouts, construction packages, subcontractor management, procurement or contract administration\nFamiliarity with Australian Standards, NCC/BCA and client-specific standards\nProgress toward, or ability to obtain, NV1 security clearance\nWho are we?\nKBR’s Infrastructure Services Australia business offers a wide range of professional services to private and public sector clients delivering projects in both urban and remote environments across transport, water, environment, buildings and defence.\nWe are committed to social and environmental sustainability and delivering projects with a digital mindset that drives innovation within our business, for our customers and stakeholders.
