Working under general supervision, the role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements, company procedures, and industry standards. The position serves as a key interface between clients, engineering disciplines, procurement teams, fabrication contractors, and project stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years related experience, with average experience of 15-20 years.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan, organize, coordinate and monitor project activities in alignment with approved project procedures, standards and client requirements.\n\nAct as a primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day project matters, ensuring effective communication and high levels of client satisfaction.\n\nSupport project execution throughout the lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, commissioning and delivery phases.\n\nCoordinate and manage internal and external project interfaces across multidisciplinary teams.\n\nSupervise project personnel through subordinate team leaders and ensure effective allocation of resources.\n\nMonitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables and performance metrics to ensure successful project execution.\n\nIdentify, escalate, and facilitate resolution of project issues that may impact cost, schedule, quality or safety.\n\nSupport the Management of Change (MOC) process by assessing impacts, maintaining documentation and coordinating approvals.\n\nAssist in risk identification, assessment and mitigation planning to minimize project exposure and ensure successful delivery.\n\nPrepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, budget forecasts and status updates.\n\nParticipate in proposal development and may serve as Proposal Manager for medium-sized projects.\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable HSE requirements, company standards, client specifications and regulatory obligations.\n\nProcurement & Equipment Coordination Responsibilities\nCoordinate Mechanical Equipment procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nAct as focal point for procurement-related activities including:\nBid clarification meetings\n\nTechnical and commercial evaluations\n\nProcurement status reviews\n\nVendor kick-off meetings\n\nProgress and expediting reviews\n\nLiaise closely with Mechanical Package Engineers, Procurement teams, Vendors and Client representatives.\n\nMonitor vendor performance and ensure procurement deliverables are aligned with project schedules.\n\nSupport equipment inspections, documentation reviews and vendor data management activities.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.\n\nExperience in project coordination, project engineering, or project management within the Oil & Gas industry.\n\nDemonstrated experience supporting offshore projects, preferably involving FPSO facilities.\n\nExperience coordinating Mechanical Equipment procurement activities and vendor management.\n\nStrong understanding of project execution processes, engineering deliverables, procurement, and construction activities.\n\nKnowledge of multidisciplinary engineering execution for offshore projects.\n\nFamiliarity with project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and change management processes.\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with topsides and module fabrication activities.\n\nUnderstanding of procurement and supply chain processes for offshore projects.\n\nExperience supporting digital project delivery initiatives.\n\nPrior exposure to EPC/EPCI project environments.\n\nProject Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is an advantage.\n\nTechnical Skills\nKnowledge of offshore Oil & Gas design and engineering practices.\n\nFamiliarity with FPSO systems and project execution methodologies.\n\nWorking knowledge of engineering and design tools including:\n3D CAD\n\nIntelligent P&IDs\n\nSPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation)\n\nSPE (SmartPlant Electrical)\n\nNavisworks\n\nKnowledge of digital engineering and integrated project delivery platforms is preferred.\n\nProficiency in project planning and reporting tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project is an advantage.\n\nKey Competencies\nProject Planning & Coordination\n\nClient Relationship Management\n\nProcurement Coordination\n\nRisk & Change Management\n\nStakeholder Management\n\nBudget & Schedule Control\n\nCross-functional Team Leadership\n\nProblem Solving & Decision Making\n\nCommunication & Influencing Skills\n\nResults-Driven Execution\n\nBelong.
