Qualifies suppliers, issues requests for proposals, maintains subcontract files in accordance with established procedures. Oversees and performs the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work on a project. Under general supervision and occasional direct supervision, perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReview of Government solicitations\nPrepare and Issue RFPs to Subcontractor teammates\nIssue data calls our Subcontractor teammates for any information that may be required to support proposal efforts.\nPrepare OCI packages for our Subcontractor teammates\nReview and negotiate Subcontractor pricing\nPrepare Govt. proposal submission instructions for Subcontractor teammates\nNegotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements \nPerform comprehensive price analysis \nNegotiation of Subcontract Agreements, to include the negotiation of Terms & Conditions\nPreparation of all required documentation to include in Subcontract file to ensure CPSR compliance. \nIssuance of a variety of procurement actions (Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, Modifications, etc.) \nMonitoring of Purchase Orders/Subcontracts within purchasing system \nIdentify and mitigate contract risks\nClose-out Subcontracts and Purchase Orders in accordance with procedures\nWork Environment:\nLocation: Hybrid\nTravel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%\nWorking Hours: Standard\nRequired Qualifications:\n Security Clearance Requirement: Clearance Eligibility. If needed, ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance. Polygraph may be required.\n2 + years of relevant experience in purchasing /subcontracts \nB.S. / B.A. Majors: Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management or Business Law \nShould possess sound reasoning skills and the ability to interpret policies and government regulations in day-to-day activities \nEffective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders as well as Suppliers \nExperience working with FAR, DFARS, Agency regulations, ITAR, etc. \nTeam Player with excellent interpersonal skills \nProficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Project)\nDesired Qualifications:\nOrganized and systematic approach to task management that enables timely closure of actions \nAbility to work independently\nExperience with Deltek Costpoint \nExperience with Deltek Timekeeping \nModerate to expert excel skills \nBasic Compensation: $67,000.00 - 93,000.00.\nThis range is for the Virginia area only\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nAdditional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
