This role ensures avionics and propulsion-related systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with Air Force and OEM requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport avionics system design, integration, troubleshooting, and modernization for C-130J digital avionics and C-130H legacy/modernized systems\nReview and interpret wiring diagrams, ICDs, avionics architecture documents, and MIL-STD-1553/ARINC data bus interfaces\nEvaluate avionics interfaces with propeller control systems, including EPCS, DECU, FADEC, and NP2000 electronic propeller controls\nSupport avionics upgrades such as ADS-B, GPS/INS, TACAN, CNS/ATM, mission-computer enhancements, and cockpit modernization\nConduct system-level troubleshooting for navigation, communication, flight-control, and mission-system anomalies\nProvide engineering input for ground/flight test procedures, certification activities, and airworthiness assessments\nDevelop engineering documentation, test plans, and technical reports\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in technical field or 10 years of related experience\nExperience with C-130J/H avionics systems and avionics-to-propeller control interfaces\nStrong understanding of aircraft wiring, data buses, and avionics integration\nBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
