By joining KBR, you become part of a team that works together, shares common values and is united in delivering great outcomes.\nAs our project pipeline continues to grow, we are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Sydney team and contribute to the delivery of major infrastructure projects across Australia.\nThis is an opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong focus on transport and infrastructure programs including roads, rail, water and urban development projects, while building your technical capability as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.\nThe Opportunity\nAs a Civil Engineer, you will support the planning, design and delivery of a range of infrastructure projects across their full lifecycle. Working within our Civil team, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and specialists to help deliver practical, innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.\nKey responsibilities include:\nContributing to the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.\nUndertaking civil design activities including earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities and related infrastructure.\nSupporting the delivery of transport, water and urban development projects from concept through to detailed design.\nPreparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation.\nCoordinating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality project outcomes.\nSupporting the preparation and review of project deliverables to ensure compliance with client and industry standards.\nAssisting with project planning, scheduling and delivery activities.\nBuilding and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.\nAbout You\nYou are a motivated engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges and working in collaborative project environments. You bring strong technical foundations, a proactive mindset and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes for clients.\nWe're interested in candidates who have:\nExperience in civil infrastructure engineering within ideally a consulting environment.\nExposure to the design and delivery of infrastructure projects such as roads, rail, water or urban development projects.\nKnowledge of civil engineering principles and design standards.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.\nA commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.\nDegree qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent.\nProgress towards Chartered Engineer status (CPEng), or an interest in pursuing accreditation in the future.\nWhy KBR?\nThis position gives you the opportunity to continue KBR's success in delivering major Water, Defence, Transport and Infrastructure projects.\nAt KBR, we value you.
