This position is responsible for leading and developing a multidisciplinary civil/structural engineering team while overseeing all phases of structural design and execution. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership capabilities, driving engineering excellence, mentoring junior professionals, and ensuring alignment between design, construction practices, and fabrication/module yard requirements. This role offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes, solve complex engineering challenges, and contribute to the delivery of innovative, safe, and cost-effective structural solutions across a diverse project portfolio.\nFunctional job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nOversees and directs a large team of civil / structural engineers for project work.\nPlan, budget, organize, coordinate, and oversee the civil / structural project\nResponsible for designing, specifying, and providing services related to structures and foundations made of concrete, steel, wood, or engineered products for structures, platforms, bridges, pipe racks, buildings, etc.\nResponsible for conducting employee performance reviews and coaching and developing entry-level professionals.\nDevises new approaches to problems encountered.\nPerforms work involving standard engineering practices, but it may also include complex features such as conflicting design requirements, and intricate coordination needs.\nCoordination and alignment with construction practices and module yards\nOffers technical guidance to designers and novice engineers.\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering\nOver 20 years of civil/structural experience with an EPC company, averaging between 20 and 25 years.\nExecution of large-scale LNG projects with modularization strategies.\nFamiliarity with cryogenic piping systems, insulation/fireproofing requirements, and LNG safety standards.\nLarge foundation design\nRequires adequate professional experience to demonstrate competence as a fully trained professional.\nCertification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
