The contract serves to support KOC to achieve its objectives of reaching optimum capacity in its oilfields and enhancing its facilities by the most efficient and economical means available.\nThe contract aims to provide project management, co-ordination, planning, design, engineering, construction management, contracting, procurement, project controls and other services for construction of new oil field facilities, up-grading of existing facilities, and transfer of technology.\nPrimary Objectives\nDevelopment and Management of construction and completions capability across PMC projects ensuring that design integrity is not compromised while managing the department in the execution of the process.\nResponsibilities\nPromote and drive the involvement of Construction in areas of technical design, schedule, preliminary execution planning, and cost estimating.\nDevelop and maintain a familiarity and appreciation of capability and ongoing workload of Construction’s support providers / contractors. \nDevelop and maintain functional responsibility for all construction and completions personnel\nOverall supervision of construction engineers.\nTechnical competence of construction personnel.\nForecast requirement for construction engineering resources and allocating those resources.\nPrepare man hour estimates to perform project tasks.\nPromote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.\nTechnical supervision of project designated construction engineers in the execution of their duties.\nPrepare weekly progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis.\nQuality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system.\nSafety - Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.\nQualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills\nBachelor Degree in Engineering\nMinimum 15 years total post-graduation experience\nMinimum 10 years post-graduation experience in oil and gas construction\nMust Have min 5 years’ experience in a Lead/Senior Construction role\nEssential skills/experience\nAnalysis and problems solving\nCreativity/innovation\nCommunications, written and oral.\nFormal presentation skills\nAbility to influence and persuade.\nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nBelong.
