These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.\nKBR is looking for a Construction Planning and AWP Manager responsible for leading the Owner's AWP and WorkFace Planning program on a multi-billion-dollar capital project. This role drives the integration of engineering, procurement, construction, material management, commissioning, and startup activities to improve field productivity, schedule certainty, and execution performance.\nWorking as part of the Owner's project leadership team, the AWP Manager provides governance and oversight of EPCM contractors, construction managers, and trade contractors to ensure consistent implementation of AWP best practices across the project lifecycle.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nDevelop and implement the project AWP and WorkFace Planning strategy.\nEstablish governance, standards, metrics, and reporting for AWP execution.\nLead integration of Engineering Work Packages (EWPs), Construction Work Packages (CWPs), Installation Work Packages (IWPs), and turnover packages.\nEnsure alignment between engineering deliverables, procurement activities, construction sequencing, and commissioning requirements.\nLead construction readiness reviews and constraint management processes\nMonitor contractor compliance with Owner AWP requirements and industry best practices.\nCoordinate with project controls to integrate AWP milestones into project schedules and performance reporting.\nSupport modularization, prefabrication, and construction-driven design initiatives.\nDrive continuous improvement in labor productivity, workface readiness, and schedule performance.\nProvide executive-level reporting and recommendations for project leadership.\nConduct periodic assurance audits and maturity assessments.\nMeasure contractor performance against established AWP key performance indicators.\nProvide regular executive updates to Owner leadership and project steering committees.\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\n20+ years of industrial construction experience in \n10+ years leading AWP and WorkFace Planning on major capital projects.\nDemonstrated experience on projects exceeding $500 million TIC; mega-project experience preferred.\nExperience in Owner, EPCM, Program Management, or Construction Management environments.\nExperience\nMinimum 20 years of industrial construction experience.\nMinimum 10 years leading Advanced Work Packaging and WorkFace Planning programs on major capital projects.\nDemonstrated experience on projects exceeding $1 billion TIC.\nPrevious experience supporting mega-projects between $3 billion and $10 billion preferred.\nExperience working in an Owner, EPCM, or Program Management role.\nExperience managing multiple EPCM contractors and construction contractors simultaneously.\nStrong knowledge of AWP, WorkFace Planning, project controls, construction readiness, systems completion, and startup planning.\nProfessional Certifications\nPreferred certifications include:\nPMP (Project Management Professional)\nCCM (Certified Construction Manager)\nPSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional)\nAACE Certifications\nLean Construction Certification\nConstruction Industry Institute (CII) AWP Professional Certification\nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
