Our focus spans proprietary technology, consulting, and energy transition to complete delivery of major capital projects and programs.\nKBR is looking for a Control Systems Engineering (CSE) Lead who will be responsible for the technical and operation leadership of the process control system scope including DCS, telecommunications, instrumentation, and process analyzer for medium to large oil and gas, refining and petrochemical projects.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nDrive projects in various stages, from development to execution, with an eye for managing cost, scope, schedule, and internal reporting requirements\n\nUse strong organizational savvy and relationship building skills to influence both internal and external resources\n\nUnder broad direction, this individual has the responsibility, accountability, and authority to manage the execution of the engineering design in accordance with applicable specifications and standards to achieve project objectives\n\nAssures projects meet project objectives, including cost, schedule, and scope\n\nEnsures accurate cost budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and reporting of assigned projects\n\nProvides clear, accurate scopes of work and construction packages including documentation\n\nAnalyzes and manages risks on projects\n\nFacilitates safety and constructability reviews\n\nCreates requisitions for engineered items and development of spare parts list\n\nReports on cost (including forecasting) and schedule attainment\n\nCommunicates and resolves technical and commercial issues as related to project objectives\n\nSuccessfully communicates with leadership, engineers, designers, document control, procurement, project controls, and all other departments\n\nEnsures all project documentation is completed\n\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nEDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering\n\n10+ years of industrial oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industries experience\n\n5+ years of experience in technical control systems leadership\n\nExperience developing process control specifications and control system design\n\nExperience leading initiatives and managing suppliers\n\nDemonstrated experience in process control systems and network architectures: DCS, PLC, SIS, BMS\n\nDemonstrated experience in instrumentation\n\nExperience with electrical schematic drawings, logic diagrams, and panel schedules\n\nKnowledge of and exposure to telecoms, cyber security, and process analyzer engineering.\n\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.\n\nProblem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.\n\nAttention to detail and the ability to ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.\n\nPreferred Education & Skills:\nPE or P.Eng.\n\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
