Our focus spans proprietary technology, consulting, and energy transition to complete delivery of major capital projects and programs.\nKBR is looking for a CSE -Senior Engineer who will be responsible for executing process control system scope including DCS, telecommunications, instrumentation, and process analyzers for small, medium, and large oil and gas, refining and petrochemical projects.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nParticipate in the detail engineering execution project phase.\n\nUse strong relationship building skills to interact with leadership, engineers, designers, document control, procurement, project controls, all other departments, and the client as required.\n\nExecute the engineering design in accordance with applicable specifications and standards to achieve project objectives\n\nCreate requisitions for engineered items and development of spare parts lists\n\nReview supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance with the purchase orders\n\nCommunicate both technical and commercial issues to the lead engineer for change management\n\nEnsure all project documentation is completed\n\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nEDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in engineering\n\n3+ years of industrial oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industries experience\n\n3+ years of experience in technical control systems and/or instrumentation engineering\n\nTotal Minimum 5 years of experience\n\nEIT required\n\nExperience with process control specifications and control system design\n\nExperience with managing suppliers\n\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.\n\nProblem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.\n\nAttention to detail and the ability to ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.\n\nPreferred Education & Skills:\nPE or P.Eng.\n\nExperience in process control systems and network architectures: DCS, PLC, SIS, BMS\n\nExperience in instrumentation\n\nExperience with electrical schematic drawings, logic diagrams, and panel schedules\n\nKnowledge of and exposure to telecoms, cyber security, and process analyzer engineering\n\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
