We can only consider applicants with the right to live and work in the United Kingdom\nCOST ENGINEER - Warrington\nYou would need to be in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.\nRole:\nTo provide and maintain a comprehensive Cost Engineering framework and service for the Major Project.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide and manage the cost framework, systems and resources to deliver an effective cost control and reporting service to Project Managers and Sponsors.\nPrepare, monitor and forecast baselines during all project phases.\nPrepare, monitor and forecast expenditure profiles and provide accruals where needed.\nPrepare cost reports, including earned value analysis, identifying critical areas and trends and recommend recovery options.\nMaintain the cost control database and validate data across systems.\nEnsure all commitments are recorded and maintain forecasts within approved financial limits.\nMaintain an estimate of the outturn value of the project and prepare the EAC for review and approval.\nProvide the required information to support the risk process.\nProvide project outturns against baseline for LFE and Knowledge Management.\nMentor and support Assistant Cost Engineers in their development.\nAccountabilities:\nEnsure the accuracy of data communicated and reported to all stakeholders.\nThe highlighting of any current and potential issues to the Senior Cost Engineer, Lead Cost Engineer, PCM and Project Manager.\nMaintain compliance with approved processes, procedures and Project Execution Plans.\nThe active contribution to continuous improvement of the functional quality and performance of Project Controls.\nTo work in compliance with the Collaborative Management Plan and al appropriate SLMS documents and protocols.\nEstablish budgets and track compliance and deviations Analyze cost, progress, and performance indicators Earned vs planned Committed vs budget Analyze trends & forecast to-go Lead the change management process including capturing and documenting changes Develop and monitor contingency drawdown plans Develop and maintain cash flow
