We Deliver - Together.\nThe Opportunity:\nWorking alongside Defence personnel, industry partners, and engineering specialists, you will support the design review, verification, testing, and release of electronic countermeasure Mission Fills in accordance with Defence technical regulatory frameworks and engineering governance processes.\nReporting to the Chief Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the Engineering Management System (EMS), reviewing technical documentation, supporting test and evaluation activities, and ensuring mission-critical capabilities meet Defence standards and operational requirements.\nThis role offers exposure to highly specialised Defence technology programs and may involve domestic and international travel to support testing activities.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct engineering design reviews of Force Protection Electronic Countermeasure (FPECM) Mission Fills.\nSupport the planning, coordination, and execution of laboratory and field-based testing activities.\nReview and assess technical documentation, verification evidence, and engineering artefacts.\nExercise delegated technical authority within approved Defence engineering frameworks.\nPerform Technical Data Assessments of system data and engineering packages.\nSupport the continuous improvement and maintenance of the LCRC Engineering Management System.\nCollaborate with Mission Fill developers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with Defence engineering, safety, and assurance requirements.\nContribute technical expertise to field trials and capability verification activities.\nSupport engineering governance, technical certification, and approval processes.\nPromote safe engineering practices and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAs the ideal candidate you will bring:\nA background as an experienced systems or communications engineer with strong Defence engineering knowledge and a passion for delivering operational capability.
