This continued growth allows us to offer unrivalled opportunities to our staff in terms of career paths, career development and project exposure.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the structural analysis, design and delivery of complex infrastructure, industrial, water, transport and building projects.\nProvide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineers, graduates, designers and drafters.\nPrepare and review structural calculations, engineering reports, specifications and technical documentation.\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk to ensure successful project delivery.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships, contribute to proposals and support business development activities.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary project teams and provide construction support, inspections and technical reviews.\nDrive continuous improvement, technical excellence and compliance with Australian Standards, safety and quality requirements.\nSkills and Qualifications\nBachelor of Engineering (Structural, Civil or related discipline) recognised for professional engineering registration in Australia.\n7-10 years' structural engineering experience within consulting, infrastructure, industrial, water, transport or major project environments.\nProven experience leading structural design, analysis and project delivery across complex engineering projects.\nChartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent professional standing, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.\nExperience mentoring and developing engineering teams while managing client and stakeholder relationships.\nProficiency with structural analysis and design software such as Microstran, SpaceGass and equivalent platforms.\nStrong knowledge of Australian Standards, structural engineering principles, concrete, steel and foundation design.\nCommercially focused with demonstrated capability managing project budgets, resources, risk and project performance.\nRPEQ, RPEV, NER registration and Construction White Card highly regarded.\nWho are we?\nKBR’s Infrastructure Solutions Australia business offers a wide range of professional services to private and public sector clients delivering projects in both urban and remote environments across transport, water, environment, buildings and defence.\nWe are committed to social and environmental sustainability and delivering projects with a digital mindset that drives innovation within our business, for our customers and stakeholders.
