The Cybersecurity Advisor assists the customer in cybersecurity strategy and governance by advising on priorities, policy updates, and governance actions to ensure they align with mission requirements.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nSupporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities, reciprocity initiatives, and continuous monitoring strategies.\nProviding guidance on zero trust planning, identity, segmentation, encryption, and secure access patterns.\nAdvise on incident response processes, vulnerability management, and security operations improvements.\nIntegrate security into DevSecOp development pipelines and acquisition planning.\nDevelop metrics, dashboards, and briefs for reporting to executive leadership.\nRequired Qualifications:\n CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance\nExperience advising executive leadership on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management for complex enterprises.\nExperience with security frameworks and concepts (e.g., R.MF, NIST CSF/800-53, zero trust, identity and access management).\nExperience improving ATO processes and promoting reciprocity\nExperience developing security policies/standards and implementation guidance.\nRequired Education Relevant Experience:\nMaster's Degree or higher in Business or Master’s Degree in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) and 6 years of experience.\nBachelor's Degree in Business or STEM and 8 years of experience\nHigh school or High School Equivalency Diploma and 12 years of experience\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience overseeing incident response planning, vulnerability management, and security monitoring concepts.\nExperience integrating cybersecurity into acquisition and system engineering (security-by-designDevSecOps).\nExperience briefing senior leaders and coordinating across multiple organizations.\nBasic Compensation:\n$160,200 - $195,800 (This range is for Washington DC Metro Area Only).\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
