{"id":2865294,"url":"https://alion.io/job/kbr-dg-boss-quality-manager-fn-contingency","title":"DG BOSS: Quality Manager (FN) (Contingency)","company":{"id":4344,"name":"KBR","domain":"kbr.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/kbr","size_band":"5000+","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workday","truth_index":{"grade":"B","score":80,"open_postings":422,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":0.988,"repost_share":0,"time_to_fill_p50_days":13,"computed_at":"2026-11-03T05:54:40Z"}},"role":"Industrial Engineering","role_family":"Industrial Engineering","seniority":"lead","employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["García, Mexico"],"countries":["MX"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":42000,"max_usd":108000,"period":"year","method":"global_role_cell_scaled_by_country","sample_n":2629},"experience_years_min":5,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Microsoft Office","optional":false},{"name":"Outlook","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-04T00:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-09-04","last_verified_at":"2026-11-03T02:40:34Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":60,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":60},"description":"Title:\nDG BOSS: Quality Manager (FN) (Contingency)Responsible for the Contractor's quality management program and assure that subcontractors implement a Quality Management program, which meet the requirements of this contract.\nAdministers the Contractor's Quality Management program and report directly to the Contractor's corporate management.\nHave full authority to coordinate the rework of non-conforming work and have full responsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards identified in this contract are met.\nResponsible for overall development, implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management functions within the KBR-DG Base Operations Support Services Project.\nProvides overall project-wide oversight on quality and requirements compliance matters on both QA/QC functions.\nWork closely with the Annex Managers on quality matters and recommend actions to correct non-conformances preventive measures to reduce recurrence of non-conformances, and continuous process improvement actions.\nEnsure Annex specific work instructions are developed, implemented, controlled and analyzed for continuous improvement.\nReports performance against both internal and client quality through QA/QC inspection results.\nPromote awareness of contractual requirements throughout the project.\nEstablish metrics to identify trends for inspections, non-conformances root causes and corrective/preventive actions at minimum.\nServes as liaison with external parties on matters related to quality, process variation, rigorous process discipline, prevention activities and process improvements, including coordination of corrective actions.\nReviews the Quality Management Plan, as required, to assess its effectiveness and accuracy and recommend changes or improvements; examine optimum efficiency and evaluate compliance with KBR-DG Base Operating Support Services Project contractual requirements.\nBasic Qualifications\nMust have knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.\nMust be a self-motivated and versatile manager with strong leadership characteristics and strong communication skills.\nProven ability to organize, prioritize and follow-through to completion on multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities.\nMust possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).\nMust pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.\nMust have a valid driver’s license.\nPreferred Qualifications\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING:\nProfessional certification as Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is highly desired.\nCertification in USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractor (CQM-C) is highly desired.\nCertification in OSHA EM 385-1-1 is highly desired.\nEDUCATION:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil, Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering and scientific fields, based on a four-year course of study from a U.S. or U.K. accredited college or university or equivalent institution.\nEXPERIENCE:\nMust have at least five (5) years’ experience running a proactive and robust Quality Management program for a multi-function service contract.
