The KBR team is over 1,000 people strong, providing not only life support services such as water treatment, electricity, and telecom/antenna maintenance, but also quality of life services like Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) and an award-winning dining facility.\nJob Summary\nAs a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repair of communications and electronic systems that support the U.S. Navy’s telecommunications infrastructure. This critical role ensures compliance with Navy technical standards and maintains operational readiness in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications or electronic systems maintenance. At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nSupervise and execute corrective maintenance on High Frequency Global Communications System (HFGCS) equipment per AF T.O. 31R2-2GRC244-1(series).\nPerform preventive maintenance and field modifications in accordance with NAVSEAINST 4790.8 (series).\nDocument and track all maintenance activities within the Navy Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) System.\nCoordinate maintenance schedules with government representatives and obtain necessary approvals.\nConduct Maintenance Spot Checks and Self-Monitored Assessments to ensure quality and readiness.\nManage test equipment inventory and calibration schedules.\nOversee setup and movement of materials, equipment, and work sites.\nEnsure compliance with Navy safety protocols and proper use of PPE.\nProvide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to team members.\nPerform additional duties as needed to support mission objectives.\nBasic Qualifications\nBASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):\nStrong understanding of Navy maintenance programs and telecommunications systems.\nSkilled in equipment lifecycle management and Navy technical procedures.\nProven leadership and team management abilities in fast-paced environments.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nExcellent organizational and multitasking skills under tight deadlines.\nMust pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.\nValid driver’s license; ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING\nCompletion of Navy 3-M System PQS (NAVEDTRA 43241-H) within 3 months of hire:3M 301 - Maintenance Person\n3M 303 - Work Center Supervisor\n\nEDUCATION:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field preferred.\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
