These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.\nThe Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Lead serves as the PMC organization's technical authority and owner-representative for the planning, design verification, integration, construction assurance, commissioning, qualification, and startup of electrical power distribution, instrumentation, process control, automation, and industrial control systems across the client’s project.\nKey responsibilities:\nCoordinate activities among Client stakeholders, the PMC team, EPCM contractor(s), equipment suppliers, automation vendors, and construction contractors to ensure electrical and instrumentation systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with Lilly standards, GMP requirements, project objectives, and industry best practices. \nProvide leadership in power distribution design reviews, instrument and controls verification, automation integration, control system architecture, field implementation planning, FAT/SAT oversight, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring reliability, maintainability, cybersecurity, operational readiness, and lifecycle performance requirements are incorporated throughout project execution. \nAct as the primary integration point for electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation systems. \nDrive collaboration across engineering, construction, CQV, manufacturing, maintenance, and operations organizations to ensure successful project delivery and startup. \nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum 10 years of experience with electrical and control systems on industrial capital projects.\nExperience with power distribution, utility systems, process control logic and automation, and facility infrastructure. \nKnowledge of automation interfaces and power reliability strategies.\nStrong knowledge of instrument, control systems, and electrical codes, standards, and engineering practices.\nExperience successfully coordinating Electrical and Control Systems with multidisciplinary engineering activities for capital projects in excess of $500M TIC.\nPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills:\nExperience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated facilities.\nPrior experience in an Owner’s Representative or PMC role for major capital projects in excess of $1B TIC.\nExperience supporting commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.\nFamiliarity with emergency power and critical operation systems.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license.\nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
