Your dedication to quality and service aligns with KBR’s mission of delivering dependable solutions in all aspects of operations.\nWhat You'll Do\nIn the role of Executive Chef, your duties will include:\nFood Preparation - Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and ensuring proper portioning for recipes.\nCooking - Cook food according to restaurant or kitchen standards, following recipes to ensure consistency and taste.\nMaintain Cleanliness - Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking equipment, and utensils. Follow sanitation and food safety standards.\nMenu Knowledge - Be able to create a menu, ingredients, and cooking methods to effectively prepare and present dishes.\nQuality Control - Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished dishes to maintain consistency and high standards.\nTime Management - Prepare dishes in a timely manner, ensuring all meals are ready according to the service schedule.\nCollaboration - Work closely with kitchen staff, to manage kitchen operations, communicate orders, and ensure efficient meal preparation.\nInventory Management - Track and managing kitchen supplies and creating reorders.\nCompliance - Adhere to health and safety regulations and kitchen procedures, including proper storage of ingredients and food handling techniques.\nThis is a contingent position based upon contract award and will be located OCONUS\nREQUIREMENTS:\nMust possess an Active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Poly level clearance.\nAssociate’s degree in Culinary Arts; OR a minimum of thirteen (13) years’ experience in food services including seven (7) years as an Executive Chef\n(10+) years’ experience in Food Services\n(5+) years experience as an Executive Chef\nExperience in large food service operations providing cafeteria style or multi-entrée operations.\nExperience leading and developing a food service team.\nExperience providing complete, high quality meal service\nHave experience working in a challenging food services environment.\nExperience with maintaining Serve-Safe standards.\nBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
