Estates Intelligence teams utilise the ‘6 As’ Methodology to deliver business benefit by deploying their ‘Viaverse’ platform to enable each A - aggregation of data, automation of transactional processing and operational data flows, assurance of process and data integrity to promote sanctity of management information, audit of processing and data to better refine business outcomes, analytics to offer management information and insight, all to enable enhanced asset management across client’s portfolio.\nAbout the Role\nThe Field Auditing Quality Manager is responsible for leading and governing the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of field-based audit activities across building services, Mechanical & Electrical Services within FM and H&S compliance.\nThe Field Auditing and Quality Manager manages the KBR Compliance & Technical Auditing programme. The post holder works with Auditors, data specialists and schedulers to carry out a rolling program of Field Audits across a large and varied estate to agreed quality and throughput measures. Covering buildings and sites across England and Wales.\nThe role is focused on managing QA processes and outcomes and has line management responsibility for all field auditing staff. The Field Auditing and Quality Manager is responsible for managing the overall programme and ensuring that quality and standard of delivery is consistent with client requirements, the programme objectives, and the team’s delivery meets relevant deadlines and KPIs.\nThe KBR team will comprise regionally based field auditors. In addition to the primary Auditing responsibility, the post holder may be required to manage specialist programmes from time to time using in house resource and/or external suppliers for delivery.\nThe post holder will be responsible for collaboration with the Audit team, with the scheduling team and with other KBR departments such as Business Intelligence / data reporting. This role will require spending significant time in the field to observe and provide visible management support to the field-based teams.\nThe role ensures audit outputs meet statutory, mandatory, and contractual requirements, are evidence-based and deliver measurable assurance and value to stakeholders.\nResponsible for defining audit methodologies, conducting quality reviews, and driving continuous improvement across audit delivery and reporting standards.\nRole Responsibilities:\nAudit Delivery & Performance Management\nLine manages field audit teams.\nDefine and maintain audit frameworks, standards and methodologies.\nConduct structured QA reviews of compliance & technical audit reports and outputs.\nEnsure compliance with statutory, mandatory and contractual requirements.\nManage and oversee NCR processes and close out effectiveness.\nClient & Stakeholder Engagement\nProvide assurance reporting and compliance insight to stakeholders.\nSupport client engagement with data driven recommendations.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance service delivery and compliance outcomes.\nRegular meetings with client / stakeholders.\nTechnical & Compliance Expertise\nAct as SME for all building services compliance / technical audits (M&E, FM, H&S).\nFollow and assess Health & Safety competency through documented processes.\nValidate auditor assessments and interpretations of legislation.\nProvide technical assistance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPossess strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify key issues.\nProduce clear, accurate and professional technical reports.\nEducated/experienced at an operational level in a technical discipline relevant to Facilities Management (FM) QA of audit services.\nBroad FM management experience sufficient to assess services outside of specialist discipline.\nProvide audit support services to field-based condition surveyors and associated teams.\nHealth & Safety Responsibilities\nResponsible for own Health & Safety and that of colleagues.\nPromote and ensure safe systems of work and compliance with H&S standards.\nQA Development & Continuous Improvement\nManage the continuous development of the field-based audit team processes.\nMonitor KPIs, SLAs and audit quality metrics.\nAnalyse compliance trends, recurring failures and performance gaps.\nDevelop reporting dashboards and data insight outputs (Power BI).\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across audit delivery.\nReview and report own requirements for ad hoc training as required.\nDevelop and promote a clear understanding of company activities and requirements to deliver a knowledgeable, best-in-class service.\nProfessional Standards & Company actions.\nImplementation and execution of structured QA audit procedures across FM and H&S disciplines.\nDelivery of all audit functions across operational environments.\nConducting compliance and performance audits against contractual and statutory requirements.\nReviewing service delivery against defined standards and SLAs.\nIdentifying best value and performance improvement opportunities.\nAudit Reporting & Quality Control\nStructured review of audit reports and findings.\nNCR management and corrective action tracking.\nEnsuring consistency and accuracy across all outputs.\nProducing clear, structured audit reports within defined deadlines.\nRaising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).\nProviding timely QA audit findings and compliance and relevant legislation.\nKnowledge of contract requirements and service specifications.\nReviewing work standards and operational procedures.\nAssessing adherence to client policies and standards.\nProfessional & Operational Capability\nMinimum five years’ management experience within FM (Audit Services) M&E and Building fabric and H&S operational disciplines.\nManaging all aspects of field-based auditing services.\nProven ability to provide comprehensive technical guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nEffective time and workload management under tight deadlines.\nExperience working independently and as part of a technical /compliance audit team.\nDelivery of technical assistance and audit support across multiple service areas.\nStrong analytical, organisational and reporting capability.\nRequired Technical Skills & Qualifications\nEssential:\nBroad FM management related experience within QA of auditing compliance & technical audits.\nH&S competency.\nQualification in Mechanical & Electrical Services, C&G, HND.\nTechnical Report writing skills.\nFull Understanding of building compliance & legislation (Statutory & mandatory) related to all building, Mechanical & electrical services.\nRecognised qualification within QA assessment procedures - relevant to Building / Mechanical Services.\nIntermediate IT skills in relevant CAFM systems
