With a global presence and a strong ethical framework, KBR ensures secure, effective, and mission-ready capabilities worldwide.\nJob Summary\nJoin the Program Acquisition Executive Fires - SHIELD Project Office in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting the Lower Tier Interceptor (LTI) Product Office.\nAs a Hardware Engineer, you will support current programs of record, obsolescence mitigation efforts, and emerging programs by reviewing requirements documentation, qualification test plans, and participating in major engineering reviews. This role requires applying broad engineering expertise to ensure program hardware requirements are being met or exceeded, throughout the entire product lifecycle.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nServe as Hardware Engineer Subject Matter Expert supporting LTI Systems Engineering on LTI managed PATRIOT Launcher and GEM-T Missile Programs\nProvide technical support at Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, working groups, and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM)\nSupport major System Engineering reviews like Systems Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), and Critical Design Reviews (CDR)\nUse engineering knowledge to ensure qualification test plans adequately test new hardware compliance to system requirements.\nReview Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Request for Change (RFC) documentation to validate Technical Data Package (TDP) changes are accurate.\nResearch and develop Courses of Action to help government customers make informed decisions on emerging requirements and obsolescence mitigation efforts.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Systems Preferred) with 4 years of relevant experience, OR\nMaster’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience, OR\nPhD in lieu of relevant experience\nExperience with hardware technical data packages, missile system hardware, engineering design reviews, and hardware integration.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment\nActive security clearance\nAbility to travel up to 25%\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting U.S. Army Air Defense Launcher and Missile programs\nKnowledge of Army Systems Engineering design practices and requirements specifications processes\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills related to Hardware Design and Integration efforts\nFamiliarity with reading and evaluating engineering Technical Data Packages\nExperience with Models Based Systems Engineering (Cameo, MagicDraw, etc.)\nBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
