The role maintains the system in areas where it is already live and supports its rollout to new areas and departments, including the Phase 2 rollout.\nThe focus is on the technical and IT side of ePTW: system integration, data management, technical support and continuous improvement. The Advisor is the primary technical link between KBR, the ePTW service provider, internal IT teams and end users, making sure the system stays stable, scalable, compliant with HSSE standards and aligned with business objectives.\nJob Responsibilities\nSupport the development and rollout of the ePTW system across Majnoon Oilfield and ensure a smooth transition for each area brought onto the system.\nImplement, manage and track the ePTW program throughout the scope of the project.\nTake ownership of the technical aspects of the Phase 2 rollout, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing and deployment, working with the ePTW service provider to deliver on time, within budget and in line with organizational needs.\nLead the technical implementation and integration of the ePTW system with existing IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable data flow and system compatibility, in collaboration with internal IT teams and the ePTW service provider.\nProvide ongoing technical support for the ePTW system, troubleshoot issues and keep downtime to a minimum. Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related ePTW issues and work with the service provider to resolve technical challenges.\nServe as the main technical liaison with the ePTW service provider, particularly during Phase 2. Oversee technical communication, monitor vendor performance and ensure the provider delivers against system requirements and SLAs.\nManage ePTW system data to ensure integrity, security and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and work with IT teams to implement robust data backup and recovery processes.\nContinuously monitor and optimize the ePTW system for performance, usability and scalability, and identify and implement improvements to functionality and user experience.\nGather feedback from end users on system performance and usability, and develop and deliver end-user training on IT-related ePTW functionality.\nCreate and maintain system documentation, including user manuals and technical guides.\nEnsure the ePTW system complies with relevant IT security standards and HSE regulations. Conduct regular system audits and work with the service provider to close any compliance gaps.\nWork closely with HSE, IT, Operations and other stakeholders to ensure the system meets the needs of all users, and provide IT input to cross-functional meetings, particularly during Phase 2.\nProvide IT expertise and guidance throughout the change process and ensure smooth adoption of new features and functionality during system upgrades.\nProduce and maintain reports on ePTW system performance, usage and compliance, and give senior management regular updates on system status, vendor performance and IT-related issues.\nMaintain clear and transparent communication between the ePTW service provider, IT teams and end users.\nProactively identify and resolve risks that could affect system stability, security or compliance, in line with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) standards.\nPerform other related duties as reasonably required to maintain the stability, security and compliance of the ePTW system.\nTechnical Qualification & Skills\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.\nRelevant HSE qualifications.\nMinimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role with a strong IT component.\nProven experience in the development, implementation and rollout of ePTW systems.\nExperience with enterprise production management systems and SAP, including familiarity with SAP external interfaces.\nExperience with ePTW-specific software (the ePTW service provider's platform, SAP or similar systems) is highly desirable.\nWorking knowledge of HSSE legislation and field practices and procedures.\nUnderstanding of Control of Hazardous Energy procedures and boundary permit systems.\nThorough understanding of oil and gas safety practices such as Confined Space Entry and Hot Work.\nProficient in database management, particularly SQL Server.\nFamiliar with browser/server (B/S) architecture systems and server management.\nKnowledge of project implementation and IT operations and maintenance (O&M) methodologies.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management tools.\nSoft skills\nFluent in English, written and spoken.\nExcellent communication, people management and leadership skills.\nSkilled in change management, with the ability to lead and implement major changes.\nTeam and performance oriented, while able to work independently when required.\nAble to work in a harsh field environment.\nCulturally aware and able to work effectively within a diverse, multinational
