This role partners closely with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, drive cost savings, mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and maximize value from supplier relationships while supporting corporate objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe successful candidate will:\nAssign, lead and prioritize procurement activities while providing direction, assignments, coaching, and support to procurement team members.\nOversees and perform reviews and approval of a full range of team members activities.\nDevelop and execute category and sourcing strategies for indirect spend areas, including professional services, facilities, HR services, marketing, travel, and other corporate categories.\nPartner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop procurement solutions that align with operational and financial objectives.\nConduct market assessments, supplier evaluations, and competitive sourcing events to identify best-value solutions.\nLead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier negotiations, contract execution, and supplier performance management.\nAnalyze supplier proposals, evaluate commercial terms, and perform price and cost analyses to ensure competitive and reasonable pricing.\nNegotiate complex commercial agreements, statements of work, master service agreements, and other indirect procurement contracts.\nEstablish and maintain strategic supplier relationships that promote collaboration, innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.\nManage procurement dashboards, spend analytics, savings reports, and key performance indicators to support informed business decisions.\nManage supplier performance through structured business reviews, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport budget planning and forecasting activities through spend analysis and category insights.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, delegated authority requirements, audit standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.\nAdvise stakeholders on procurement best practices, contracting strategies, and risk mitigation approaches.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline procurement processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance user experience through automation and digital procurement tools.\nSupport both domestic and global sourcing initiatives across multiple business units and geographic regions.\nChampion procurement governance and drive adoption of procurement processes and preferred supplier programs.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nDemonstrated success managing strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management activities across multiple indirect spend categories.\nStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.\nProven ability to develop and implement category management and sourcing strategies that deliver measurable cost savings and business value.\nExcellent analytical, financial modeling, and spend analysis capabilities.\nStrong commercial acumen with advanced negotiation and contract management skills.\nAbility to identify business challenges, structure solutions, and execute procurement initiatives from concept through implementation.\nExceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.\nStrong project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.\nSound decision-making skills and the ability to manage sensitive or high-pressure situations professionally.\nExperience with procurement analytics, reporting tools, and supplier performance management methodologies.\nExperience with ERP and e-procurement systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or similar platforms preferred.\nExperience with SharePoint Online, workflow automation tools, and procurement technologies is desirable.\nWorking knowledge of commercial contract structures, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Fixed Price, Time & Materials, and Cost-Reimbursable contracts.\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.\nMinimum 8-10 years of progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, or supply chain experience, with significant focus on indirect spend categories.\nExperience managing complex sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations in a global or multinational environment.\nProfessional certification such as CPSM, CPSD, CSCP, CPM, or equivalent is preferred.\nDomestic and international travel may be required.\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nA strategic and results-driven procurement professional with expertise in indirect procurement, category management, supplier negotiations, and spend analytics.
