This person will play a critical role in enabling KBR’s enterprise-wide automation strategy, supporting business-critical integrations and digital delivery across global operations. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business partnership and innovation capabilities to drive reliable, scalable automation solutions.\nKey Focus Areas:\nBusiness Partnership\nPartner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and application owners to understand automation requirements and translate them into scalable solutions\n\nSupport SAP R/3 4.7 job schedules (SM36 & SM37), Informatica (OS command lines), and enterprise application teams by enabling reliable scheduling and integration services\n\nCollaborate across global teams to ensure continuity and alignment between STS and MTS environments\n\nInnovation\nDrive continuous improvement of automation processes and workflows\n\nExplore modern authentication (SSO), security, and integration enhancements\n\nIdentify opportunities to optimize job scheduling, reduce manual effort, and enhance platform efficiency\n\nDigital Delivery\nDeliver and maintain enterprise scheduling and automation capabilities using Automic (UC4)\n\nSupport end-to-end automation including SAP jobs, Informatica workflows, and file-based integrations\n\nEnsure high availability, performance, and reliability of automation platforms supporting critical business processes\n\nCore Responsibilities:\nAdminister and support Automic (UC4) environments (v24.x)\n\nConfigure workflows, schedules, and dependencies\n\nManage Automic components including Automation Engine, Agents, and Service Manager\n\nPerform installation and configuration on Windows and Linux systems\n\nTroubleshoot job failures and system issues\n\nManage users, roles, and security within Automic\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nBachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related field\n\n7+ years directly related work experience\n\nIn lieu of formal education, 15+ years related experience\n\nHands on experience with Automic (UC4) platform\n\nKnowledge of Windows and Linux scripting\n\nExperience with SAP job scheduling and Informatica workflows\n\nExpertise with Automic RAFTP, SFTP, PGP encryption, and file interfaces\n\nOracle SQL for troubleshooting and performance tuning\n\nExperience with LDAP, SSO, and web-based interfaces (AWI, Jetty)\n\nWe are IT\nWe are strategic enablers of the business, delivering scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions that drive operational excellence and support enterprise growth.
