You will provide ongoing functional analysis to validate mission requirements and constraints while assessing and monitoring system performance and providing feedback to a subsystem team of teams. You will act as an advisor to the customer, providing them with the results they need to inform mission critical decisions.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a JR Electrical & Computer Engineer, you will:\nSupport the design and development of electrical and computer engineering systems, including hardware, embedded systems, and networked solutions\nDevelop and review technical documentation, including schematics, interface control documents, and test procedures\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including systems and software engineers\nParticipate in troubleshooting and resolution of system-level issues\nContribute to continuous improvement efforts across engineering processes and tools\nUse standard engineering processes to carry out assignments associated with research, design, development or analysis of specific parts, components, interfaces, or minor phases of a project\nAssist higher level engineers and translate technical guidance and data received into usable information applicable to the assignment\nPlan, direct and coordinate engineering functions involved in the design and development, installation, testing, validation and integration of systems and subsystems\nConduct research studies necessary for the improvement or reconfiguration of systems or subsystems\nServe as the customer interface and organizational consultant on significant issues requiring technical guidance, redirection or resolution\nAssist in compiling and preparing comprehensive technical reports and proposals; may participate as a team member of multiple teams; may act as primary intra-organizational liaison\nPerform all other duties as assigned\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully obtain a CI Polygraph\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field\n0-3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops applicable)\nFamiliarity with engineering tools such as MATLAB and Python\nFamiliarity with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Cameo\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment\nBasic Compensation:\n$92,100.00-$112,600.00\nThis range is for theEl Segundo, CAarea only.\n$88,100.00-$107,600.00\nThis range is for theKing of Prussia, PAarea only.\n$92,100.00-$112,600.00\nThis range is for theChantilly, VAarea only.\n$80,100.00-$97,800.00\nThis range is for theBeavercreek, OHarea only.\n$80,100.00-$97,800.00\nThis range is for theSan Antonio, TXarea only.\n$76,100.00-$93,000.00\nThis range is for theClearfield, UTarea only.\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s work location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, clearancelevel, contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.\nAdditional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
