Our multi-disciplinary teams tackle challenges across the navigation, communications, electronic warfare, and cyber security domains.\nPosition, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Engineer all levels\nWe are currently seeking individuals with experience in Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) engineering to join our team in Beavercreek, Ohio. As a PNT Engineer, you will be responsible for designing approaches for hardware in the loop testing of GPS and GNSS receivers, physical setup and measurement of results, as well as analysis and reporting of the findings. This job also includes interfacing and communicating clearly with customers and co-workers. We are seeking applicants who can deliver innovative solutions and work in an environment that encourages agile, mission-driven approaches that deliver valuable results through efficient means to their customers.\n*NOTE WE ARE LOOKING FOR JUNIOR, MID LEVELS, and Sr. Engineers\nResponsibilities\nPerform multi-disciplined engineering and analysis primarily in the areas of Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT), Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Communications, signal propagation theory, or electronics. The types of activities supported include scenario development, simulation, static lab testing, hardware-in-the-loop testing, data processing, and field testing.\nTasks include developing and planning technical approaches and assessing program resources, system performance, and risks. The individuals should provide in-depth research and apply first order principles predominantly in the areas of communications theory, analysis, problem or task approach development, troubleshooting, and/or technical support for operations/test planning and prediction.\nPotentially serve as group leaders for complex tasks requiring extensive knowledge in multiple technical disciplines. Other positions include serving as functional subject matter experts.\nProvide engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, constraint development and implementation for complex systems required to meet technical requirements. Activities include making recommendations and advising on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts. Performs risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.\nAuthor reports, develop and provide presentations, plans, and contribute insights in support of the program.\nRequired Job Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Advanced Degree in a relevant technical field\n5+ years’ technical experience in communications or navigation\nGPS or GNSS experience\nExperience testing hardware in the loop\nKnowledge or interest in digital design and processing or radio frequency signals\nTheoretical and practical knowledge in areas of communications, navigation, and electrical engineering\nLab experience including but not limited to oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, soldering, making cables, populating/fixing PCBs, etc.\nExperience with Linux and Windows based operating systems\nStrong knowledge with Python, C#, C++, or other similar languages\nExperience managing customer relations\nTechnical writing and verbal communications skills\nSkills in working in team/individual environments\nAbility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance\nBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
