United in our quest for excellence, KBR stands at the vanguard, ready to transform possibilities into impactful realities for a better tomorrow.\nWho You Are\nYou are an Jr. Software Engineer who will perform all activities associated with the design, development, implementation, maintenance, configuration management and quality control of software for scientific/engineering applications.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a JR Software Engineer, you will:\nCreate prototypes and perform internal testing of software products\nRespond to software discrepancies against documented requirements and provide resolution\nDetermine software maintainability and overall adherence to user requirements\nGenerate program design language and code based on mission standards\nGenerate/update project documents\nAnalyze and evaluate systems, devising computer specifications for scientific/engineering applications\nEncode, test, debug, and install operating programs and procedures\nCollaborate with engineers in the design, development, and utilization of scientific/engineering electronic data processing systems software\nProvide analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software for products such as utility software, development software, and diagnostic software\nParticipates in the development of engineering test strategies, devices and systems\nPerforms all other duties as assigned\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully obtain a CI Polygraph\nBA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 0-3 years of related experience, or AA in related field and 3 years of related experience; in lieu of formal education, 10 years of related experience; specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.\nBasic Compensation:\n$94,300.00-$115,200.00\nThis range is for theEl Segundo, CAarea only.\n$94,300.00-$115,200.00\nThis range is for theChantilly, VAarea only.\n$90,100.00-$110,200.00\nThis range is for theKing of Prussia, PAarea only.\n$90,100.00-$110,200.00\nThis range is for theColumbia, MDarea only.\n$81,900.00-$100,100.00\nThis range is for theBeavercreek, OHarea only.\n$77,900-$95,200.00\nThis range is for theClearfield, UTarea only.\n$81,900.00-$100,100.00\nThis range is for the San Antonio, TXarea only.\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s work location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, clearancelevel, contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.\nAdditional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
