You will be responsible for understanding system behaviors, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing proof-of-concept exploits to demonstrate the impact of those vulnerabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about security and eager to develop their expertise in reverse engineering.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform full-scope reverse engineering of hardware, firmware, software, and network protocols.\nAnalyze system components, architectures, and interactions to gain in-depth knowledge of their functionality.\nIdentify security vulnerabilities, potential attack vectors, and areas for improvement.\nDevelop custom tools and scripts to automate and streamline reverse engineering workflows.\nResearch and stay current on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and reverse engineering techniques.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions.\nDocument findings, prepare comprehensive reports, and present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.\n0-4 years of demonstrated experience in reverse engineering or relevant security disciplines.\nStrong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and software development principles.\nProficiency in assembly language or C/C++.\nExperience with debugging tools and techniques.\nExperience with network protocols and security concepts.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nGraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.\nExperience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja.\nExperience with hardware reverse engineering tools and techniques.\nKnowledge of embedded systems and firmware analysis.\nDemonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated curiosity: performs self-directed learning and tasking.\nPersonal projects in Reverse Engineering, Capture the Flags, game modifications, or other related projects.\nBasic Compensation:\n$80,000 to $115,000\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nAdditional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
