Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.\nJob Summary\nAs The Project Controls Manager you will be responsible for forecasting, controlling, and reporting project costs within an organization. This role involves developing and providing project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports. The manager reviews project costs incurred by category and calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates, and risk analysis. Under broad direction, the Project Controls Manager is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within the project controls function. This position also involves managing the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to managers or professional staff, participating in the development of project controls strategy, and potentially being responsible for global processes and procedures in estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain project cost forecasts.\nControl and report project costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.\nAnalyze project variances and trends to provide accurate expenditure reports.\nReview and categorize project costs.\nCalculate future costs considering labor productivity, material price increases, subcontractor rates, wage rates, and risk analysis.\nPrepare and present completion reports detailing project expenditures.\nProvide leadership and direction to managers and professional staff within the project controls function.\nManage the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups.\nParticipate in the development of project controls strategy.\nPotentially oversee global processes and procedures in estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling.\nImplement effective strategies to address identified issues and improve project outcomes.\nWork with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.\nCommunicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.\nPresent data-driven decisions and analysis to stakeholders.\nIdentify issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies effectively.\nEmploy project management software and tools proficiently to support project controls activities\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)\nMust have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 6 years of directly related experience. An additional 4 years of directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nMust have experience developing forecasts and projecting costs for U.S. Government contractors.\nRequires experience calculating labor costs as well as material costs.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.\nStrong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.\nProven ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement effective strategies.\nExperience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.\nAbility to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.\nRequires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.\nPreferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)\n10+ years of experience in project controls.\nStrong leadership and management skills.\nExperience with global processes and procedures in estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nProficiency in project management software and tools.\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include medical, dental, life insurance, AD&D, R&R, an Employee Support Program and more.
