Working within a high-performing Project Controls team, you'll provide schedule leadership, planning expertise and project insights that help drive successful project delivery.\nBased within a centrally located client office, you'll partner with Project Managers, Engineering teams and key stakeholders to manage integrated schedules, identify risks, support project decision-making and maintain robust planning processes across a complex capital program.\nThe Opportunity:\nAs Lead Scheduler / Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing integrated project schedules, driving schedule performance and providing accurate reporting and analysis to support project delivery.\nWorking closely with project leadership, you'll play a key role in forecasting outcomes, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring critical project milestones are achieved.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the development, maintenance and governance of integrated project schedules for a major utility infrastructure program.\nEstablish and manage project baselines, schedule change control processes and scenario modelling activities.\nConduct critical path analysis, schedule reviews, schedule health checks and performance assessments.\nDrive schedule risk identification, mitigation planning and recovery strategies.\nDevelop and manage resource-loaded schedules, workforce forecasts and planning metrics.\nDeliver high-quality schedule reporting, analysis and progress updates to project leadership and client stakeholders.\nPartner with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure accurate sequencing and delivery alignment.\nProvide planning expertise and guidance to support project controls best practice.\nMentor and support schedulers and planners where required.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning and project controls functions.\nAbout You:\nTertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.\nExtensive experience in project planning and scheduling within Utilities, Infrastructure, Energy, Defence or Major Capital Projects environments.\nAdvanced Primavera P6 expertise, including schedule development, resource loading, critical path analysis and forecasting.\nDemonstrated experience leading planning activities on complex, multidisciplinary projects.\nStrong understanding of schedule risk management, Earned Value Management (EVM), project controls and performance reporting.\nAbility to interpret complex project data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.\nWell-developed stakeholder engagement skills with experience working closely with project leadership and client representatives.\nExperience with Power BI, reporting dashboards and data visualisation tools will be highly regarded.\nWhy Join Us?\nYou'll be part of a high-performing Project Controls team delivering critical infrastructure that will support South Australia's future growth.\nWorking alongside experienced Project Managers, Engineering leaders and commercial stakeholders, you'll have the opportunity to influence project outcomes on a complex, multi-year utility infrastructure program while developing your expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.\nKBR offers exposure to some of Australia's most complex Infrastructure and Defence projects, providing opportunities to broaden your experience beyond a single project or sector.
