The selected candidate might be required to travel ADNOC offshore on a rotational basis to conduct site surveys, support brownfield assessments, verify existing installations, and obtain project-specific engineering data necessary for design and execution.\nJob Purpose\nLead, direct, and oversee all Technical Safety Engineer (Process Safety) engineering activities for onshore and offshore oil & gas developments across the full project lifecycle, including Concept Studies, FEED, and Detailed Engineering.\nServe as the discipline technical authority, providing engineering leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, reliable, maintainable, and cost-effective TSE solutions that comply with client requirements, applicable standards, project schedules, and quality expectations. Act as the focal point for TSE while facilitating effective multidisciplinary coordination.\nKey Responsibilities\nHas demonstrated experience in Process Safety. Knowledge of project engineering practices, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications.\nDeveloping and checking of calculations, data sheets, technical notes, requisitions, specifications, drawings and similar deliverables produced within Discipline.\nAct as a single focal point of contact for leading/coordinating, planning, supervising the Safety Engineering assigned in the project to ensure improvement in efficiency and quality of work performed.\nConduct, organize and lead/facilitate Workshop such as PHA, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL & LOPA, etc. and follow up with the recommendation/findings.\nPerform the following engineering tasks applying the international standards (IEC/NFPA/API/ etc.) and including the required interfaces with other engineering disciplines: \nHazardous area Classification schedule and layout.\nFire protection design basis.\nFire water networks design.\nFire water pumps / fire water tanks calculation and sizing.\nFixed firewater spray systems calculation and design.\nFixed foam system calculation and design.\nFixed gaseous firefighting system calculation and design.\nFire and gas detection system design.\nSufficient knowledge of hazard and risk management, fire and explosion analysis (dispersion analysis), fire protection related studies, formal safety assessments, compartmentation and emergency evacuation routes.\nComplete integration with other team members: engineers, designers, and technical personnel in the execution of the project\nWork independently and create a positive work environment.\nExperience with firewater demand calculations and equipment requirements, industrial drainage design and equipment.\nGood working knowledge in PIPENET, DNV PHAST and other consequence modeling software.\nResponsible for reviewing third party safety studies including QRA, FERA, F&G mapping study, … etc.\nSupervise & perform the following technical procurement services: \nMaterial take-off & Material requisitions for the fire protection packages.\nBid evaluations include technical clarifications and technical evaluation reports.\nVendors print review.\nProvide technical leadership to ensure that applicable international) are correctly applied.\nPerform the following leading & supervisory duties as a Lead engineer:\nStudy and review contract conditions included in customers’ tenders.\nManage the fire protection part of internal and external design reviews, 3D models reviews, value engineering reviews and constructability reviews\nQuality assurance, quality control and monitoring of the engineering deliverables, activities and outputs including consistency checks, review of technical quality, assure technical compliance with project specifications & requirements, technical support & direction, and managing internal & external quality audits.\nExperience\nMinimum 17+ years of TSE experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, or Energy sectors.\nMinimum 8 to 10 years in a Lead Engineer, Senior Lead Engineer, or equivalent leadership capacity.\nDemonstrated experience delivering both offshore and onshore brownfield and greenfield projects.\nExtensive working knowledge of ADNOC Group projects, engineering practices, and technical standards.\nProven experience across FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, PMC, Construction, and Commissioning environments.\nStrong exposure to offshore production facilities, wellhead platforms, central processing facilities, and related infrastructure.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.\nExperience with ADNOC offshore / PMC / Client representation is preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nComprehensive understanding of international standards including API, IEC, ISA, NFPA, NACE, BS EN, and operator-specific standards such as ADNOC requirements.\nThorough understanding of FEED and Detailed Engineering deliverables, document management systems, MOC processes, and project controls.\nProficiency in industry-standard process safety engineering software and applications, including PHAST, Flare Sim and equivalent.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and
