Acting on behalf of the PMC organization, this role will ensure engineering, procurement, construction, and CQV activities are aligned with applicable regulatory requirements, client standards, recognized industry practices, and project risk management objectives.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nReview project activities for compliance with loss prevention standards and requirements.\nSupport hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation activities.\nCoordinate with engineering, construction, and CQV teams to reduce project risk.\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in process safety, fire protection, or loss prevention.\nKnowledge of applicable fire, life safety, and hazardous material regulations.\nExperience conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses.\nExperience supporting capital projects in industrial or regulated environments for projects in excess of $500M TIC.\nPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills:\nExperience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or chemical manufacturing facilities.\nPrior experience as PMC or Owner’s Representative for capital projects in excess of $1B TIC.\nKnowledge of NFPA, FM Global, OSHA, and process safety management requirements.\nExperience participating in PHA, HAZOP, or similar risk review activities.\nFamiliarity with commissioning and startup safety requirements.\nProfessional Engineer (PE), CFPS, or related certification.\nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
