The MCPP-PHIL Communications Quality Control Inspector will report directly to the MCPP-PHIL Quality Manager.\nJob Summary\nPlan, coordinate, and execute the performance of all quality management functions for the MCPP-PHIL Task Order by implementing the following:\n\nCollect and analyze data to make decisions that improve Marine Corps communications equipment readiness, maintenance quality, performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.\n\nConduct detailed technical inspections on prepositioned communications equipment.\n\nInterpret and communicate technical manual requirements to workforce and management.\n\nAnalyze and display Global Combat Support Systems Marine Corps, and MDSS II data to ensure that equipment is ready for delivery to the customer.\n\nMonitor and update the Quality Management Data Base (IQS).\n\nEnsure that all customer generated quality complaints are answered properly and in a timely manner.\n\nInterpret the Statement of Work and how it applies to the quality program for communications equipment.\n\nServe as liaison to government Quality Assurance Equipment Specialists, facilitate and maintain an excellent working relationship with all government counterparts.\n\nMonitor the activities of all personnel engaged in the communications equipment maintenance process, to improve quality and customer satisfaction.\n\nUse and interpret quality data and reports to identify maintenance status, trends, and process deficiencies.\n\nProvide quality presentations and metrics to brief senior leadership and make recommendations on ways to improve quality and reduce non-conformances.\n\nCoordinate with management to brief and train employees on the techniques and tools to identify, analyze, and lead efforts to solve problems and to provide improved customer satisfaction.\n\nConduct training on quality trends and ways to improve quality.\n\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements. Establish and lead teams to work process improvement initiatives. Document team progress.\n\nCollect, monitor, display, interpret, and communicate process metrics to senior management team.\n\nAchieve quality performance and productivity goals.\n\nProvide coordination with other groups to accomplish tasks outside normal areas of responsibility.\n\nDevelop and implement new maintenance processes/procedures as needed and make recommendations to improve ISO documents.\n\nAttend all quality related meetings and technical presentations.\n\nPerform all other duties as assigned.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nMust have knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality control processes.\n\nProficiency in quality assurance methodologies and tools.\n\nMust have two years related work experience conducting quality audits, inspections, and implementing corrective actions.\n\nCompletion of related formal training such as Ground Electronics Transmission Systems Maintainer (MOS 2841) or Signal Corps - 25 Series MOS.\n\nIn lieu of formalized training, a combination of college credits, professional certification, or other education, and directly related work experience may be considered.\n\nMust have four years of directly related work experience in the communication maintenance field.\n\nRequires the ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements.\n\nThe ability to analyze equipment and forecast spare part equipment is required.\n\nMust have the ability to analyze maintenance repair or operation to determine methods of improvement.\n\nMust have strong written and oral communication skills.\n\nU.S. Stateside Driver’s License\n\nActive Department of Defense secret security clearance.\n\nU.S. Passport\n\nFBI Background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations.\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Visa.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nUSMC MOS 2805, 2862\n\nComplete the Maintenance Chief Course or equivalent.\n\nIn-depth understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders.\n\nWorking knowledge of Marine Corps equipment/materiel and associated logistics processes.\n\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\n\nStrong analytical skills.\n\nWorking knowledge and application of quality assurance concepts, principles, and techniques.\n\nIn-depth understanding of the services Marine Corps Prepositioning Program provides to the customer and the processes and techniques used to deliver these services.\n\nAbility to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.\n\nWorking knowledge of personnel management, concepts, principles, and techniques.\n\nAbility to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.\n\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
