This unique program provides the essential elements needed to support and execute crisis response, global reach, and forward presence. The Marine Corps’ Prepositioning Program enables the rapid deployment of Marine Air Ground Task Forces (MAGTFs) and/or augment individual Marine units\nforward deployed. These forces are uniquely capable of strengthening alliances, securing strategic access, and defeating hostile adversaries. MPF is keystone in the Marine Corps’ capability for setting the conditions for national security. The prepositioning of equipment and supplies to support MAGTFs from Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB), to Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) level employment, enables Marine forces to fulfil their role and responsibility as our Nation’s force in readiness. Our prepositioning programs will continue to enable operations across the Joint Operational continuum - including shaping, deterrence, seizing the initiative, domination, stabilization, and enabling of civilian authorities. When combined with the forces and their equipment arriving in the fly-in echelon (FIE), prepositioning programs\nprovide forward deployed equipment and supplies needed to sustain a MEB-sized MAGTF for 30 days of operations; thus reducing total strategic lift requirements.\nJob Summary\nThe scope of this position is to supervise and coordinate activities of mechanics who are performing engineering mechanic duties on Marine Corps Prepositioning Program - Philippines (MCPP-PHIL) engineering equipment. The MCPP-PHIL Engineering Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the MCPP-PHIL Logistics Manager.\nInitial training for this position and onboarding will occur in Jacksonville, FL with follow-on USMC Contractor Replenishment Cell (CRC) training for ultimate placement in Subic Bay, Philippines.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nPlan, coordinate, execute and/or supervise the performance of all maintenance functions for MCPP-PHIL and MCPP-PHIL Organic engineering equipment implementing the following:\nDevelop and maintain a competent and complete maintenance program that follows the contract Statement of Work and adheres to Marine Corps policy and procedures.\nSupervise and coordinate activities of engineering mechanics engaged in repairing, adjusting, servicing, and storing motor vehicles. \nOversee equipment readiness, maintenance shop organization, control of maintenance assets and provide advice on all matters relating to motor transport maintenance. Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities. \nEnsure mechanics are properly trained in all maintenance functions. \nDetermine sequence and assignment of work on basis of work priority and quantity of equipment to obtain optimal use of equipment, facilities, and personnel. Identify specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP)\nKeep inventory of repair parts and equipment and requisition replacement stock.\nReview requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies.\nEnsure compliance with personnel and administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations.\nEnforce worker compliance with established safety regulations, and method and procedures for handling and storing various equipment parts/components.\nInspect work performed to ensure compliance with specifications and time schedules.\nInterpret specifications, drawings, work orders, technical instructions, and layouts.\nMaintain MCPP-PHIL ISO policies and procedures and ensure on-going compliance with such.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nBasic Qualifications\nAssociate degree and/or coursework towards a BS degree in mechanical engineering or another related field.\nIn lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, professional certification, formalized training, or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.\nTen years of progressive experience with specialized knowledge of maintenance and logistic support activities involving engineering equipment, including five years in a supervisory capacity involving various aspects of cost/schedule controls, performance monitoring, report writing, program planning and customer interface.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nMust possess a valid state Motor Vehicle Drivers’ License.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense secret security clearance.\nMust possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.\nApplicants must be able to pass an FBI Background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations.\nMust be able to obtain a work visa and an Alien Employment Permit for the Philippines.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nUSMC MOS 1169/1349.\nUnderstanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders.\nIndustry Certification.\nAutomation and Scripting.\nWorking knowledge of military supply procedures.\nExpert knowledge of general maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies.\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\nAbility to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
