A TS/SCI with a Poly clearance is required.\n Required Qualifications:\nMinimum of 8-10 years' experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering, Physics, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline\n\nApply principles, theories and methods of cost estimation to complex Government acquisitions\n\nDevelop cost estimating relationships through the application of advanced statistical analysis techniques\n\nDevelop models/methods for space systems and their associated ground and launch systems across multiple space-related product lines\n\nAbility to collect and normalize data and design cost estimating methods and models\n\nDevelop life-cycle cost estimates using a variety of methods (e.g. parametric, analogy, etc)\n\nExperience leading life-cycle cost estimates for major system acquisitions\n\nAbility to identify key cost and technical risk areas, and translate the risk areas into program cost impacts\n\nProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel\n\nProficient with the application of Monte Carlo simulation techniques\n\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to present results to senior leadership\n\nAbility to work independently and lead detail-oriented tasks\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in engineering, Physics, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines\n\nCost estimating experience in the following domain areas:\n\nSpace hardware (bus and payload)\n\nSpace systems (e.g. NASA/Air Force, Commercial)\n\nLaunch systems\n\nGround systems (e.g. mission management, command and control, mission processing, ground terminals, communications networks, data centers)\n\nSoftware cost estimating\n\nParametric and analogy-based estimating\n\nData collection and normalization\n\nModel development\n\nMethod development (e.g. multivariate regression analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, cost improvement curve analysis)\n\nTechnical understanding of satellite systems\n\nExperience using risk analysis software (e.g. @Risk, Crystal Ball)\n\nExperience using statistical analysis software (e.g. SAS, SPSS, etc)\n\nICEAA certification; either Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA)\n\nSecurity Requirements:\nTS/SCI with Polygraph\n\nWork Environment:\nLocation: on site, in office\n\nTravel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%\n\nWorking Hours: Standard\n\nBasic Compensation:\n$135,600-$203,300\nThis range is for the Virginia area only.\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nAdditional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
