This is a full-time position requiring availability for on-site access to the Aerospace complex in El Segundo CA.\nThe Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO) Space Enterprise Integration Model team is looking for an energetic and innovative Data Scientist to work with Model-based System Engineers to support data analysis, extracting data from models, developing custom scripts, dashboards and visualizations.\nThe candidate will work side by side with SSC personnel in the performance of engineering-related tasks applying critical thinking concerning solutions to current threat environments for National Security Space (NSS) customers. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The successful candidate must also be clearable to SAP.\nRequired Qualifications:\nTS/SCI\nWorking on-site in El Segundo (no remote)\n2+ years experience\nScripting in Python and Java to extract elements, connectors, item flows, and metadata \nNavigating object hierarchies, parent-child tree structures, port mappings, and connector endpoints to output tabular data\nQuery and extract backend Sparx EA model data using SQL\nExtracting, mapping, and transforming semi-structured object data into tabular formats\nExperience building dashboards/visualizations in tools such as Power BI or Tableau\nAutomating user interaction with Java Swing dialog to let users select file and export\nCreates new data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data\nCreates user-friendly reports using various databases and systems\nPreferred Qualifications:\nJython and Groovy scripting\nExperience with MBSE data from tools such as Cameo/No Magic System Modeler/EA or Sparx EA\nExperience building dashboards/visualizations in the Palantir Foundry environment\nExperience working with JIRA/Confluence\nExperience in Space operations/acquisition\nBS in Data Science\nLocation: On-site\nTravel Requirements: Minimal\nScheduled Weekly Hours: 40\nBasic Compensation: $135-150k\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nAdditional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
