Your dedication to continuous improvement and operational effectiveness aligns with KBR’s mission of delivering innovative and reliable solutions to support critical missions.\nWhat You WILL DO\nIn the role of Operations & Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:\nDirects work groups and/or units engaged in activities associated with the planning, construction, maintenance, operation, repair, renovation, alteration, and demolition of buildings, structures, equipment, machinery, and other facilities.\n\nObtains, evaluates and may negotiate bids from outside engineering, architectural, and construction firms.\n\nEstablishes schedules and budgetary controls, allocates expenditures, and oversees the coordination of major construction activities requiring integration with engineering, architectural, contracts and government agencies.\n\nEnsures compliance with contract specifications, insurance requirements, and local building codes.\n\nReviews and approves architectural /engineering drawings.\n\nParticipates in the department strategic planning process and ensures appropriate skills are available when needed.\n\nDevelops and maintains relationships with other engineering organizations to keep abreast of developments in allied fields.\n\nInterprets, executes and recommends modifications to organizational policies and corporate initiatives.\n\nEstablishes and maintains quality systems and instills values and ethics.\n\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\n\nThis is a contingent position based upon contract award and will be located OCONUS\nREQUIREMENTS:\nRequires an active SECRET security clearance\n\nCertified in at least one of the trades (plumbing, electrical, HVACR, etc) (Electrical preferred).\n\nFive (5)+ years’ experience with general maintenance, operations, and repair including and not limited too: HVAC, plumbing, sewage systems, water system (non-potable), generator, electrical, overall base operations, any material or equipment on site and site infrastructure.\n\nExperience in identifying, ordering, supplying, stocking, and maintaining a consistent inventory of repair and service items that includes critical spares.\n\nExperience in maintaining a reasonable number of items in stock as a part of the necessary OM&R parts and supplies.\n\nBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
