At KBR, We Deliver.\nKBR is looking for an HR Operations Coordinator to work in our Leatherhead offices.\nThe HR Operations Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an efficient, accurate, and customer-focused HR service across the employee lifecycle.\nResponsible for supporting core HR processes, maintaining employee records, and resolving employee queries, the role ensures a positive employee experience while maintaining high standards of data accuracy, compliance, and service delivery.\nThis role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in HR Operations. Alongside delivering high-quality administrative and employee lifecycle support, the successful candidate will be encouraged to develop expertise in HR systems, data management, process improvement, and operational excellence, creating a strong foundation for future growth within the People function.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide high-quality administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, and offboarding.\nPrepare and issue employment contracts, offer letters, employment-related correspondence, and HR documentation.\nMaintain accurate employee records and update HR systems, ensuring data integrity at all times.\nSupport payroll processes through timely and accurate processing of employee changes.\nAdminister absence management, probation reviews, and other employee-related processes.\nManage and respond to employee and manager queries, providing timely resolution and escalating where appropriate.\nMonitor shared HR inboxes and action requests within agreed service levels.\nSupport the administration of employee benefits and associated documentation.\nEnsure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and data protection requirements.\nIdentify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, proposing practical solutions to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the development of efficient, scalable, and customer-focused HR processes.\nExperience & Qualifications\nEssential\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage confidential information with discretion.\nComfortable working with defined processes, procedures, and detailed administrative tasks.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\nDesirable\nExperience working in a customer service, administration, operations, shared services, or support environment.\nPrevious HR administration or HR Operations experience.\nCIPD qualification or working towards a CIPD qualification.\nExperience using HR systems such as Workday.\nKnowledge & Skills\nA genuine interest in developing a career within HR Operations, Shared Services, or People Systems.\nCuriosity and a desire to understand how HR processes, systems, and data support the employee lifecycle.\nStrong customer service mindset with a commitment to delivering an excellent employee experience.\nUnderstanding of the importance of data quality, reporting, and process governance within HR Operations.\nInterest in HR systems and data management, with a willingness to develop expertise in Workday and related people technologies.\nStrong problem-solving and relationship management skills.\nBasic analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.\nAbility to learn new systems, technologies, and processes quickly.\nAwareness of process improvement methodologies and continuous improvement principles (desirable).\nWorking knowledge of UK employment legislation and GDPR principles (desirable).\nBehaviours\nCustomer-focused and service-oriented.\nCurious, proactive, and eager to learn.\nCollaborative and team player.\nPositive and solution focused.\nOrganised, accountable, and detail oriented.\nCommitted to continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nThe successful candidate must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and will be required to obtain and maintain BPSS security clearance.\nKBR Company Information\nWhen you become part of the KBR team, your opportunities are endless.
