We Deliver - Together.\nCapability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM)\nThe CLCM is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with Regional Maintenance Centre’s (RMC) to plan maintenance activities and installation of capability upgrades. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with the Design Services Contract (DSC) to plan and execute engineering changes and services. The CLCM delivers functions against the contract scope across the Asset Class Enterprise to support Defence Maritime Capability.\nThe Opportunity:\nAs a Configuration Management professional, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of configuration data and baselines across the ACS CLCM.\nYou will support the planning and execution of Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCA/FCA), conduct configuration compliance activities, and provide Configuration Status Accounting services to stakeholders.\nYou will ensure configuration information remains accurate, auditable, and aligned to established baselines and governance requirements.\nThe role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, manages responses to external audits and corrective actions, and promotes professional development through ongoing skills growth and best-practice adoption.\nThis is a permanent full-time opportunity based out of Garden Island, Sydney.\nResponsibilities:\nUnder broad direction and in consultation with the Configuration and Data Manager, actively assist theConfiguration Team andother stakeholders. \nExecute day to day activitiesin accordance with the Configuration Management & Audit Plan.\nLiaise closely with theEngineering Team, Ship Leadsand Waterfront Engineersresponsible for the ACSCLCMto ensure compliance to the Configuration Management & Audit Plan. \nIndependently apply Configuration Management techniquesin the context of SystemsEngineering on Navy Maritime Assets, make decisionson Configuration change, and represent the team in Configuration ControlBoards. Safeguarding the health, safety and welfare of those withinthe organisation. \nAs the ideal candidate you will bring:\nEssential:\nAt least 5 years’ experience inanengineering role (preferably withinthe Defence industry).\nExperience inCMT-U, AMPS & Stock Control and Planned Maintenance (SCPM).\nMust be eligible for ITAR clearance of relevant shipsystems.\nDesirable:\nDiploma, or equivalent, qualificationina recognisedEngineering relateddiscipline.\nExperience inthe Departmentof Defence.\nAll candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
