Our focus spans proprietary technology, consulting, and energy transition to complete delivery of major capital projects and programs.\nKBR is looking for a Principal Process Engineer to help support large capital projects.\nUnder general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of process engineering. The candidate should be able to work as part of a team or show leadership capabilities managing areas or systems within projects.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nLeading a team of process engineers to work with process licensors and to advance a licensor basic engineering package to FEED quality\n\nExperience executing a licensor package for downstream steam cracker derivatives aromatics units.\n\nExperience creating process simulations and Heat and Material Balances.\n\nPFD development\n\nWorking and coordinating with high value engineering centers\n\nFamiliarity with and able to execute or lead a team of process engineers for\nP&ID development\n\nHydraulics calculations\n\nProcess vessel sizing\n\nOverpressure analysis and relief calculations including flare load estimation and flare header sizing\n\nProduction of process design basis documents and various narratives\n\nManaging workgroup schedules, budgets and progress\n\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in chemical engineering Required, master’s degree in chemical engineering preferred\n\nMinimum of eight (8) years’ experience and an average of 10 to 20 experience\n\nKnowledge of Aspen software suites.\n\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
