These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.\nSummary Section:\nSenior Process Engineer will be responsible for wide variety of process engineering activities and would assist the lead process engineer to meet project schedule and quality requirements.\n**** Job location - Chennai/ Bangalore ****\nResponsibilities:\nDevelops Process Design Basis and Design Philosophies based on scope of work.\nReviews / Performs Process Simulations and Guides Process Engineers to perform Process Simulations and develop Heat & Mass Balance as required.\nExperience in development of PFDs, PSFDs, P&IDs, C&EDs, Safe charts.\nProven skills in routine process calculations (hydraulics and sizing) and use of process software and in-house developed spreadsheets.\nExperience in Process control configurations and ESD systems, equipment designs such as separators, pumps, compressors, gas treatment units.\nExperience in engineering and design of facilities involving Fired Heaters, Heat Exchangers, Columns is preferred.\nExperience with Steam, Instrument air, Plant air, Nitrogen, Fuel gas/oil systems, Water systems (Cooling water, Chilled water, Potable water treatments, DM water, Wastewater) Design\nShould be familiar with Steam balance.\nShould be conversant with Compressor hydraulics.\nExperience in performing relief valve and flare load calculations.\nDevelops utility balance, UFD and summary for all utilities of a process plant.\nKnowledge in offsites which includes tank farm, boilers and power generation.\nKnowledge of engineering practices, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.\nCarry out all the planning, scheduling and coordination required to execute a project.\nCoordinate with peers and sub-ordinates involved from other engineering Depts.\nIdentify and mitigate risks related to performance guarantees, vendor packages scope etc Review of vendor offers, preparation of technical bid analysis.\nEvaluates Vendor / Consultant/Licensor offers for Process Packages / Equipment, Specialized Process Engineering Studies etc.\nShould be familiar with routine safety studies like HAZOP, HAZID, SIL etc.\nKnowledge of Pre commissioning/Commissioning/Operations is an added advantage. Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with 10 to 15 years of experience\nGood knowledge in process engineering softwares (HYSYS, Flarenet) is required.\nExcellent communication, and interpersonal skills.\nExperience in any of the fields of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, refinery, Offshore and Utilities & Offsites related to industry.\nWillingness to travel for work within KBR offices.\nExperience in FEED/Detail Engineering stages of project.\n Belong.
