This role is accountable for ensuring critical equipment, materials, and supplier deliverables are manufactured, tracked, and delivered in accordance with project schedules, quality requirements, and operational readiness objectives. The Expediting Supervisor leads expediting resources and works closely with Procurement, Engineering, Construction, Logistics, Suppliers, and Project Controls to proactively identify and mitigate schedule risks across the supply chain.\nFunctional Job Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To:\nLead and supervise project expediting activities supporting capital project execution.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain expediting plans for equipment, materials, and supplier deliverables to support project objectives.\nEstablish priorities and allocate expediting resources to support project-critical procurement packages and delivery milestones.\nDirect daily activities of expediting personnel, providing guidance, coaching, performance management, and professional development.\nEnsure all expediting activities align with project safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.\nMonitor supplier manufacturing progress and delivery commitments to ensure contractual obligations and project requirements are achieved.\nEngage suppliers to maintain delivery schedules, resolve potential execution issues, and improve overall delivery performance.\nIdentify potential supplier delays and develop mitigation and recovery plans to minimize project impacts.\nMaintain delivery forecasts, status reports, expediting dashboards, and performance metrics to support project decision-making.\nSupport supplier corrective actions, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve supply chain reliability.\nTrack long-lead equipment, critical-path materials, and key supplier milestones to ensure alignment with project schedules.\nSupport project schedule reviews, supply chain risk assessments, project controls activities, and procurement strategy execution.\nCoordinate closely with engineering, construction, quality, logistics, procurement, and operations teams to ensure integrated project delivery.\nCommunicate delivery status, schedule impacts, risks, and recovery actions to project stakeholders and leadership teams.\nIdentify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to support business continuity and project execution.\nAnalyze supplier performance data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen project delivery outcomes.\nResolve complex supplier, manufacturing, logistics, and delivery issues that may impact project objectives.\nImplement expediting best practices, standardized processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across the project.\nServe as the primary expediting liaison between suppliers, contractors, and project teams.\nPrepare and present delivery updates, schedule risk assessments, recovery plans, and executive-level supply chain reports to project leadership and governance teams. \nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 7 years of experience in procurement, materials management, expediting, supply chain operations, or project support roles.\nDemonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.\nExperience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, manufacturing, EPC, or EPCM projects.\nStrong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics management, supplier performance management, and schedule management.\nAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities and coordinate across diverse project stakeholders.\nStrong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.\nPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills:\nCPSM, CPM, APICS, or similar professional certification.\nExperience supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities.\nExperience supporting greenfield and brownfield capital projects.\nKnowledge of international sourcing, global supply chains, and supplier manufacturing oversight.\nDemonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and supply chain performance programs.\nPrior experience supporting large-scale capital projects in a regulated environment. \nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
