Duty location Barksdale AFB, LA. The ideal candidate will bring strong program management and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across organizations, facilitate communication, and drive execution of complex initiatives. While familiarity with facility or infrastructure programs is helpful, success in this role depends on collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to navigate Air Force processes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead program execution across WNS and AFGSC efforts, managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk.\nServe as a Staff Action Officer (SAO), coordinating taskings, communications, and decision support across multiple stakeholders.\nDevelop, route, track, and close staff packages in alignment with USAF processes and timelines.\nFacilitate collaboration across engineering, logistics, acquisition, security, and operational teams.\nCoordinate activities across AFLCMC, AFGSC, and other mission partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.\nSupport planning and execution of programs related to facilities, infrastructure, and mission systems.\nAssist with requirements development, documentation, and program planning activities.\nParticipate in design reviews, project discussions, and cross-functional working groups as needed.\nIdentify program risks and issues and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.\nPrepare and deliver briefings, status updates, and decision materials for leadership.\nPromote a team-oriented environment that enables efficient communication and problem-solving.\nWork Environment:\nLocation: On-Site, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana\nTravel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%\nWorking Hours: Standard\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, Construction Management, or related field. • 10+ years of experience supporting DoD, USAF, or similar government programs.\nClearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. • Experience coordinating across multiple organizations or stakeholders in a program or project environment. • Demonstrated ability to manage program cost, schedule, and performance. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. • Experience preparing briefings, reports, or staff packages for leadership. • Familiarity with structured processes and documentation in a government or regulated environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Ability to work at Barksdale AFB, LA.\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience serving as a Staff Action Officer (SAO) or supporting MAJCOM-level staffing processes.\nFamiliarity with USAF Civil Engineering (CE) processes or facility/infrastructure programs.\nExperience supporting MILCON, facility sustainment, or construction-related projects.\nExperience preparing DD Form 1391 or similar programming documentation.\nExposure to design review processes for government projects.\nFamiliarity with secure facility requirements (e.g., SCIF planning, ICD 705, or similar standards).\nExperience supporting AFGSC, AFLCMC, or similar organizations.\nMaster’s degree in a related discipline.\nPMP or DAWIA certification.\nFamiliarity with budgeting or long-range planning processes (e.g., POM).\nExperience with fixed winged aircraft.\nReady to Make a Difference?\nIf you’re excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
