The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing complex projects through the full lifecycle while coordinating stakeholders, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.\nPreference will be given to candidates with experience supporting the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), Department of War (DoW), government-funded programs, national security programs, and/or defense technology projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of assigned projects.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.\nCoordinate activities across engineering, operations, finance, contracts, and executive leadership teams.\nTrack project milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.\nFacilitate project status meetings and prepare executive-level reporting.\nManage customer and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.\nSupport proposal development, project startup activities, and transition-to-execution planning.\nIdentify process improvement opportunities and implement project management best practices.\nMonitor financial performance including project budgets, burn rates, forecasts, and earned value metrics where applicable.\nDrive issue resolution and escalation management to ensure project success.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Program Management, Technology, or a related field.\n5+ years of project management experience.\nDemonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects.\nStrong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.\nExperience developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and status reporting.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC).\nExperience with DOW, Federal Government, or government contracting programs.\nKnowledge of government acquisition processes and contract management.\nExperience working within technology, aerospace, defense, cybersecurity, or advanced manufacturing organizations.\nFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project management methodologies.\nExperience managing projects involving security, compliance, or classified environments.\nWorking knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).\nDesired Competencies\nStrategic thinking and decision-making\nExecutive communication\nRisk management\nSchedule and budget management\nTeam leadership and influence\nCustomer relationship management\nProcess improvement mindset\nAdaptability and resilience\nClearance Requirements\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.\nTravel\nUp to 10-20% travel as required.\nBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
